Mace & University of Edinburgh join forces to complete 315 student beds

Deaconess House is the redevelopment of the former NHS Lothian office headquarters into a 315 bed student accommodation scheme situated in the heart of the University of Edinburgh city centre campus.

Graham Construction are the main contractor on this unique development partnership between Mace and the University. The project comprises the retention and refurbishment of the original Victorian Deaconess Hospital and a new build of three blocks arranged around a central courtyard to provide a mix of cluster and studio rooms. Concast are providing a Crosswall Precast solution for the entire new build accommodation.
